$2.1 MILLION TO A WOMAN SERIOUSLY INJURED IN A LOCAL HOSPITAL ER

Alan Perer, senior attorney at spe, announced today that a $2.1 million dollar settlement had been reached for the benefit of an spe client.

Most of the case details are confidential, but it can be said the agreement compensated a 60 year old woman who suffered a stroke at a hospital ER and that the stroke was not diagnosed or treated.

The woman is now disabled.  The incident occurred in Western Pennsylvania.
